Location: Fort Worth Texas, US Headquarters

Expected working time: 40 hrs/week + occasional overtime

Environment: Non-climate controlled warehouse

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Warehouse and Asset Operative to join our team at GEV Wind Power. This role is integral to supporting our wind turbine blade repair and servicing operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, handling assets, and ensuring that materials and equipment are accurately tracked, stored, and prepared for field operations.

Job Description:

  • Asset Tracking: Maintain and update accurate records of warehouse assets, including materials, tools, and equipment, using inventory management software and databases.
  • Inventory Management: Organize, monitor, and restock warehouse inventory, ensuring stock levels are kept up to date and sufficient for operational needs.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Assist in the receiving and shipping of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring items are properly recorded, labeled, and dispatched.
  • Storage and Organization: Ensure proper storage of items and assets, organizing them in a way that ensures accessibility, safety, and compliance with company standards.
  • Asset Inspections: Perform routine checks on assets and inventory to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
  • Inventory Replenishment: Assist in preparing and submitting restocking orders when inventory levels are low.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Ensure all inventory transactions (receiving, shipping, and asset movements) are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient handling of materials and assets.

Job requirements

To be considered, you must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Proven organizational skills and a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency.
  • Familiarity with asset tracking and inventory control systems.
  • Technical knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools used in blade repair and servicing (required).
  • Experience with shipping and handling hazardous materials (preferred).
  • Proficiency in computer systems and database management.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Forklift certification and experience driving a forklift safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and meet the physical demands of warehouse work, including standing, walking, stooping, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, hearing, and comprehension).
