Job description

GEV Wind Power is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at our Fort Worth HQ. This role is responsible for managing inventory systems, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a clean, compliant, and efficient workspace. You will work cross-functionally with the operations and supply chain teams to support the logistics behind our wind energy services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accurate records of warehouse inventory, including materials, tools, and equipment, using inventory management software and databases.

  • Organize, monitor, and restock inventory, ensuring stock levels are kept up to date and sufficient for operational needs.

  • Assist in the receiving and shipping of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring items are properly recorded, labeled, and dispatched.

  • Ensure proper storage of items, organizing them to ensure accessibility, safety, and compliance with company standards.

  • Perform routine checks on inventory to ensure items are in good condition and ready for use.

  • Assist in preparing and submitting restocking orders when inventory levels are low.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

  • Ensure all inventory transactions (receiving, shipping, and internal movements) are accurately recorded and reported.

  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient handling of materials.

 

Job requirements

To be considered, you must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within the wind energy, blade repair, or industrial service sector.

  • Proven organizational skills and a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency.

  • Familiarity with inventory control systems.

  • Technical knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools used in blade repair and servicing (required).

  • Experience with shipping and handling hazardous materials (preferred).

  • Proficiency in computer systems and database management.

  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).

  • Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and meet the physical demands of warehouse work, including standing, walking, stooping, crouching, and climbing ladders.

  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, hearing, and comprehension).
