Job description

GEV Wind Power U.S. is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Fleet Coordinator to support warehouse operations and manage the company’s vehicle. This role ensures efficient inventory control, logistics coordination, and fleet readiness to support field operations. 

Schedule: Monday (normal business hours)

Location: Fort Worth, TX (HQ)

Job Responsibilities 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, tools, and equipment using inventory management systems 

  • Organize, monitor, and restock inventory to ensure availability for operational needs 

  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and compliance with safety standards across warehouse and equipment 

  • Conduct routine inspections of inventory and fleet assets to ensure readiness and condition 

  • Prepare and submit restocking or purchasing requests as needed 

  • Manage onboarding of new fleet vehicles, ensuring all documentation (registration, insurance), safety equipment, fuel cards, and telematics systems are in place 

  • Assign and schedule vehicles based on project requirements while ensuring driver eligibility and DOT compliance 

  • Coordinate rental vehicles to support operational demand 

  • Schedule and track maintenance, repairs, recalls, and vendor services for both warehouse equipment and fleet vehicles 

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, services, repairs, and all inventory and fleet transactions 

  • Monitor telematics systems and proactively report issues or performance insights 

  • Communicate regularly with operations, safety, and management teams regarding inventory levels, fleet availability, and scheduling impacts 

  • Manage administrative tasks including insurance updates, tolls, fines, and reporting related to fleet and equipment 

  • Generate regular reports on inventory status, fleet utilization, breakdowns, and overall operational readiness 

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse

  • Support movement, staging, and preparation of materials, tools, and vehicles across departments and job sites 

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and cost control across warehouse and fleet operations 

Job requirements

To be considered, you must meet the minimum requirements: 

  • 2 plus years of experience in warehouse operations, fleet administration, logistics, or a related role

  • Experience in industrial services, wind energy, or similar industries preferred  

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and fleet tracking tools  

  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and fleet compliance requirements  

  • Technical knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment used in blade repair or industrial services (preferred)  

  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes; hazardous materials experience is a plus  

  • Forklift certification and experience operating safely  

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and database systems  

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy  

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties (standing, walking, climbing, etc.)  

  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment  

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
