Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Structural Blade Repair Technician (Blade D ) to join upcoming offshore wind turbine blade repair project in the UK. This role involves leading and mentoring teams of technicians while performing high-quality, complex blade repairs up to Category 5, including structural and specialty repairs. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-minded, and experienced with composite materials such as epoxy and polyester resins, balsa, foam, and fiberglass reinforcement.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in advanced structural blade repair

  • Ability to work safely at height and in rope access environments

  • Valid certification portfolio as listed below

⏳  Duration: 6 weeks
 📍 Location: Scotland

 Scope : Snagging , Complex Blade Repairs and inspections

 

Mandatory trainings and certificates:

GWO BST

GWO Sea Survival

GWO Enhanced First Aid

GWO Advanced Rescue (both Hub and Nacelle)

GWO Slinger Signaler

Spot on metal

Epoxy e-learnings

Siemens e-learnings

OGUK or RUK/Chester Step

IRATA 1/2/3

 

It is preferred if you have experience working as an AT on SG 8.0-167 DD

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

 

Candidates who do not hold a Blade D certificate will not be considered for this position.
